Social Thermodynamics: Enthalpy, Mirror Neurons & Empathy

I had an experience yesterday in a cafe with a mindlessly stressed out business dude who was leaking angry and frustrated energy into my vicinity at a shared table. I could feel it infecting me. He was totally oblivious that his energy was affecting those around him.

Since then, I've been reflecting on the second law of thermodynamics called 'enthalpy' and researching the connection between mirror neurons, aggression and empathy. More on this soon.
